The soup season is back and with it I offer you today this Grilled Pumpkin Soup with Gingerbread. This recipe is to be reserved for the right occasions. But do not hesitate to prepare the soup in advance, even the day before. The taste will only be better.

First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to prepare the Pumpkin Gratinée with Gingerbread for 6 people

  • 1 Pumpkin
  • 1 liter or 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 small bunch of chervil
  • 2 tbsp double cream
  • 1 orange
  • Ground pepper
  • 3 slices of gingerbread (Gingerbread recipe)

Now, here are the few steps you will have to follow to make this delicious soup with a preparation time of 15 minutes and a cooking time of 25 minutes.

Wash the pumpkin, open it and remove the seeds. Cut the flesh into large pieces without peeling it. Cook the pieces for 20 minutes in the broth with a little salt, pepper and the chervil.

Mix everything with an immersion blender, adding cream and orange juice. Divide the soup into 6 ovenproof containers, sprinkle with coarsely crumbled gingerbread slices.

when baking, add small knobs of butter and place under the oven grill for 4 to 5 minutes.

Serve immediately!
