Lamb is a wonderful meat, succulent, tender and fragrant. At home I regularly include it on the menu. These Lamb Chops are no exception. It is an easy dish to make but be careful, do not salt too much because the Feta is already salty enough!

 

First, here is the list of the few ingredients you will need to prepare these Lamb Chops and Roasted Feta that serves 6 people

  • 12 Lamb chops
  • 600 g or 1 1/2 lb shelled peas
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 20 g or 1 oz butter
  • 400 g or 14 oz Feta
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme and ground pepper

Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make this dish of Lamb Chops and Roasted Feta with a 10 minutes preparation time  and a 25 minutes cooking time

Start by turning on your oven to 190°C or 375°F. Then, cook the peas in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain them then add the cream and butter. Cover and keep warm.

Cut the Feta into sticks, place them one after the other on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, spacing them out and grill them in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, grill the lamb chops in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil. Add pepper and keep warm.

Serve the lamb chops with the grilled Feta, peas, fresh thyme and if you like you can serve this dish with a Thai sauce.
