Here is what you need for serving 4 People

  • 2 pounds (800g) pork loin fillet cut in thin and small slices
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp wine vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp (80 ml )olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp (50g)  pine nuts

 

Preparation 

Mix in a bowl, maple syrup, lemon juice and garlic. Add the pork, cover and refrigerate about 2 hours.

After this time, drain the pork. Put the marinade on a side. In a second bowl, mix the vinegar and 3/4 of the olive oil. Heat the remaining oil in a wok. Sauté pork, in batches, until golden brown in a wok. Add all the meat to the wok with the seasoning and cook, stirring until boiling. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.

Heat the marinade on high heat and let cook until reduced by 2/3. Add the pine nuts off the heat, pour the reduced sauce over the meat and serve with rice or pasta !
