Zucchini and Parmesan Gratin

Now here is first the list of the different ingredients you will need to make the Zucchini and Parmesan Gratin that Serves 4 with a preparation of 15 minutes 

  • 200 g parmesan
  • 4 zucchini
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 thyme sprigs
  • 20 g butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

 

Now here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Zucchini and Parmesan Gratin

Peel and slice onions and sauté for 10 minutes at low heat in butter with thyme crumbled.

Wash and cut the zucchini into thick slices. Sauté in a pan with 3 tablespoons olive oil for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper then drain the zucchini and mix in a bowl with half the grated parmesan and garlic.

Pour the stewed onions in a baking dish, cover with zucchini slices , overlapping. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and drizzle with olive oil.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C( 380°F). Serve hot with Toulouse sausages or any white poultry, it will be just delicious !
