Chocolate & Almond Gluten Free Fondant

Ingredients for 6 People:

  • 200g (7 oz) dark chocolate
  • 80g (2 3/4 oz) powdered sugar
  • 80g (2 3/4 oz) ground almonds
  • 90g (3 oz) applesauce
  • 2 free range eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat your oven to 180 ° C (345°F) . Grease and flour a 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inch) pan.

Melt in a double bath chopped chocolate until completely melted and leave on a side. Whisk your eggs with the sugar then add the almond powder and baking powder and finally the applesauce and mix well.

Finally add the melted dark chocolate and mix one last time. Pour into the pan. Cook for about 30 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serve.
