Keeping an Eastern twist, thanks to the seeds and figs, one of our favorite fruit of the moment and Enjoy the chill of Autumn days with the warming flavors…
Ingredients for 4 People:
- 12 fresh Figs
- 1 big Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1 cup red wine
- 11/2 cup walnuts & 2 Tbsp Sesame seeds.
- 1 green salad.
Wash and dry delicately the figs. Put the honey and water in a small saucepan. Stir and let lightly caramelise on low heat, then add the red wine.
Stir again and let bubble 5 mn.
Cut the figs in half. Pour the sirop in a plate and put the half figs with the sirop. Cook in the oven on medium heat for 20 mn.
Meanwhile, wash the salad and put it in a bowl. Make a vinaigrette and season the salad.
Prepare the plates with the salad, spread the walnuts, sesame seeds and figs on top and serve. You may add some thin parmesan slices like I did.
