Mascarpone and Salmon Verrines

First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to make these Mascarpone and Salmon Verrines that Serves 6 with a preparation of 20 minutes 

  • 200 g ( 1/2 lb) mascarpone
  • 200 g ( 1/2 lb) french fromage frais or farmer cheese
  • 4 slices of smoked salmon
  • 10 cl ( 3 oz) double cream
  • 2 Tbsp chopped chives
  • 3 pinch of salt and freshly grated pepper
  • One lemon
Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Mascarpone and Salmon Verrines 
To start, mix the mascarpone with the farmer cheese and the double cream. Then, whisk well to obtain a smooth mixture. Add the juice of half a lemon, the chopped chives, salt and pepper and whisk again. After that, you will have to cut the salmon into thin strips.
Arrange the salmon slices in the bottom of the verrines glasses and sprinkle with some remaining lemon. Then, add your preparation over the salmon strips. Garnish with a thin slice of salmon and chive on each top of the verrine glass. Finely, serve chilled with grilled toasts or toasted blinis if you like.
