Lots of flavours make up this warming sauce. This Turmeric Chicken adds plenty of protein, making it a substantial dish. This wonderfully simple-to-make Turmeric Chicken is a useful speedy standby to have ready at hand for a lunch or dinner. 


First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to preparer the Turmeric Chicken that serves 4 with a Preparation and Cooking time of 30 minutes

  • 2 1/3 cup (600 g) chicken breast
  • 2  Tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 onion, peeled and minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed and 2 Tbsp (30 g)  fresh ginger, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 cup (250ml) whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp fresh coriander
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Turmeric Chicken

Start by cutting  the chicken breasts into big cubes and fry in a pan for 10 minutes in hot sunflower oil. Set aside.

In the same skillet, fry the chopped onion, the garlic and ginger until golden. Add the turmeric, mix well and finally, incorporate the whipping cream. Add the chicken cubes and simmer for 5 to 7 more minutes. Finally add the lemon juice.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with some rice.
