This Winter Fruit Bowl is an elegant Fruit Salad. Prepared well in advance, keep it in the fridge for a few hours before serving. Don’t hesitate to choose a nice glass Bowl to see all the different colours of the fruits. Now, if serving for children, you may remove the white wine and replace it with some apple juice.

First, here is the list of the different ingredients. You’ll need it to make this Winter Fruit Bowl in 30 minutes

  • 2 oranges
  • 200 g black grapes
  • 3 ripe pears
  • 2 bananas
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 100ml dry white wine

Now, here are the few steps you will have to follow to make this delicious dessert for about serves 6

Start by Peeling the oranges raw. Peel and separate the slices. Arrange them in your fruit bowl. Peel the grape gains. Cut them in half. Deseed them and arrange them on the top of orange slices. Sprinkle with sugar. Cut the pears into quarters. Peel them and cut them into thin slices. Peel the bananas. Cut them in half lengthwise, then dice them. Put everything in the fruit bowl and add the rest of the sugar.

Mix gently. Add the white wine and press lightly with a spoon so that all the fruits remain covered with juice.

Keep refrigerated for 2 to 3 hours. Serve with a small jar of fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on the side if desired.
