Small Smoked Salmon Rolls

These Small Smoked Salmon Rolls are an ideal appetizer, especially at the very beginning of summer. They’re easy to prepare and can be made ahead of time so you can enjoy spending time with friends or family.

First, here’s the list of ingredients you’ll need to prepare these little smoked salmon rolls that will serve 8 people

  • 3 free range eggs
  • 60g or 1/4 cup fresh spinach
  • 75g or 1/3 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 200g or 1 cup smoked salmon
  • 90g or a small 1/2 cup cream cheese (such as St. Moret or Philadelphia)
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • small bunch of dill

Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make these lovely Small Smoked Salmon Rolls with a 15 minutes Preparation time and a 10 minutes cooking time

Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F). Beat the eggs and then pour them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the spinach over the eggs, then top with the grated cheese.

Bake for about 10 minutes. The eggs should be set and the cheese melted.

Once your egg/spinach/cheese layer has cooled, spread a layer of smoked salmon on top. Then, spread the cream cheese and horseradish mixture over the smoked salmon. (If the mixture is too thick, feel free to thin it with a little water.)

Roll everything up. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 6 hours.

When ready to serve, you can garnish your sliced ​​rolls with a sauce made from yogurt, salt, pepper, horseradish, and dill, and enjoy !

Note: If you want to make this for more friends, simply double the recipe quantities.
