Duck à l'Orange is one of the culinary delicacies that we must cook at least once. Conveniently, this winter holiday season is a perfect excuse to get behind the stove, and start cooking!
Finally, do not hesitate to accompany your duck with a good Homemade Potato Puree or Braised Endives!
First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to prepare the Duck à l'Orange for 4 people
- 1 Duck of about 1.2 kg or 3 lb
- 3 oranges
- 4 garlic cloves
- 30g or 2 Tbsp butter
- 100ml or 4 oz Grand Marnier
- 100ml or 4 oz white wine
- 40g or 2 Tbsp caster sugar
- 40ml or 2 oz vinegar
- 1 sprig of thyme and 4 dried bay leaves
- Salt and pepper from the mill
