Tuna Rillettes with Coriander

This recipe of Tuna Rillettes with Coriander or Cilantro is a true delight, served while we are in late winter. Especially served with fresh Baguette !

First here is the list of the different ingredient you will need to make the Tuna Rillettes with Coriander/Cilantro that serves 4

  • 1 can white tuna in brine (drained weight 150 g)
  • 1 lime
  • 12 coriander (cilantro) leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fromage frais cheese or labne cheese
  • 1 pinch paprika, Salt and pepper

Now here are the few steps you will need to follow to make the Tuna Rillettes with Coriander/Cilantro

Start by draining the tuna. Rinse, pat dry and chop the coriander/cilantro. Mash the tuna with a fork as long as it becomes small and shredded. Mix it with your Labne cheese, the lemon juice, the chopped coriander, the paprika powder, salt and freshly ground pepper.

After that, divide your preparation into nice small glasses or ceramic pots or like me pour it in a glass jar and place in the fridge for 2 hours. Leave it in a cool place until ready to serve. When serving time arrives, serve it with some fresh or toasted sourdough bread. Now, as it can be prepared in advance, everybody can enjoy the time, even the cook !
