Tangy Orange Mousse

First, here is the list of the different ingredients you will need to make the Tangy Orange Mousse that serves 4

  • 4 Tbsp Fromage Frais ( like Greek Yogurt)
  • 2 Tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 leaf Gelatine or 1 Tbsp Agar Agar flakes
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) whipped cream

Now, here are the few steps you will need to follow to make this Tangy Orange Mousse

First, soak the fine Gelatine leaf  in a bowl of cold water for about 5 minutes, allowing it to swell. Place the fromage frais ( soft cheese), caster sugar, orange juice in a saucepan and bring to the boil.

Now if you use Agar Agar, sprinkle your tablespoon over the liquid before heating. Remove from the heat. Remove the gelatine leaf from the water and gently squeeze out any excess liquid.

Then, add the gelatine leaf and stir until dissolved. At the end, fold in the whipped cream and pour delicately  into serving dishes or glasses. Chill your dessert by storing it in a cool place or better, refrigerated place, until set. After that, enjoy as is or with a little whipped cream on top !
