Juicy Fruit Tart

Ingredients for 6 people:

  • 1 pastry dough
  • 4 to 6 nectarines and/or peaches and/or plums or other juicy fruits
  • 4 Tbsp whipping cream
  • 100 g (1/2 cup) brown sugar

Turn the oven to 180 °C (365°F) and butter a rectangular tart tin if you have. I used a round one and it is also fine.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place the dough into the buttered tin. Prick the dough with a fork. Place a sheet of parchment paper over and weight it with marbles on top of the paper. Bake your pastry shell for 15 minutes, then remove the baking paper with marbles.

Wash fruits, dry them, cut them into quarters and spread them on the dough. Top with cream and sprinkle the sugar on top then bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

You can also bake this tart in one time by putting on top of the pastry 2-3 tbsp almond powder before placing the fruits.
