Here is what you need as ingredients to make the Fried Mozzarella Balls with Red Sauce

  • 1 container mini mozzarella cheese balls
  • 1/2 cup ( 115 g) flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/3 cups (70 g) panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup ( 225 g) red sauce of your choice
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream

Now, here are the few steps you need to follow to make the Fried Mozzarella Balls with Red Sauce

First, preheat a deep fryer to 375°F ( 200°C). Drain the mozzarella balls and pat dry.

Then, prepare 3 medium sized bowls. Pour the flour in one bowl, then add the beaten eggs into the second bowl and place the breadcrumbs into the third bowl.

Roll the mozzarella balls first through the flour, then through the whisked egg, then finally through the breadcrumbs. Once finished with all the mozzarella balls, place them on a tray.

Fry the mozzarella balls in batches in the oil until golden brown and crispy. You will need about one minute per batch. Drain on paper towel sheet.

Finely, to make the sauce, mix red sauce, heavy cream together, and serve your mozzarella balls with this sauce on the side for dipping.
